THE ROLE

fforest films has a position available in 2024 for a researcher or assistant producer. for up to 6 months. Extension possible. Opportunity for someone with an interest in development to work on documentaries, factual TV and commercial work.

For this role you must be Welsh speaking and live in Ceredigion. Those from Ceredigion wishing to return may also apply. Those without factual TV or media experience but with specialist transferable skills are welcome to apply. There is the opportunity for training courses.

Essential:

• Motivated self-starter with excellent writing skills

• Proven research experience

• Great with people

• Desire a career in factual TV or commercial content creation

• Live in Ceredigion

Desirable:

• Experience working in factual TV, documentaries, arts or commercial work

• Professional media experience, in particular social.

YOU:
Are you organised and a good communicator? Are you creative, full of ideas, and not afraid to talk to new people? Are you interested in documentaries or factual television, have a background in animal behaviour, anthropology, human geography, science or history? Have you organised a podcast or shot a short film or music video? We're looking for a good writer who loves meeting and talking to new people, is capable of finding interesting stories, is organised and capable of working alone to get jobs done. The role will be varied depending on the projects you're working on so it can be very rewarding.
