Established by documentary filmmaker Rhys Thwaites-Jones and writer and communications director Hannah Engelkamp.

Rhys Thwaites-Jones has been in factual television since 2004 starting out on Bafta winning children’s show RAD to working on programmes such as Top Gear and for production company Grain Media. Then moving on to producing his own series for the National Geographic Channel and adventure documentaries. Recent work includes shooting for Netflix’s Snowpiercer sci-fi series and Discovery+.

Hannah, a talented writer and author, used to be a managing editor of both a ski and an outdoor magazine. She continues to write for a number of publications as well as being a communications and marketing director for a national CIC. Clients include Visit Wales and the UNESCO Dyfi Biosphere.

Lily Tiger is an artist-filmmaker from West Wales. Supported by Llwyddo’n Lleol 2050 ARFOR initiative, she has joined the team at fforest films in Aberystwyth, working as a researcher and assistant producer. Lily earned her degree in Fine Art (first class hons) from Central Saint Martins and is currently part of Baltic Analogue Lab's 4th Film School 2024. Her debut short film She Sells Shellfish, funded by the British Council International Collaboration Grant 2023, has been screened at BAFTA qualifying film festivals including Aesthetica, Focus Wales (Celtic Film Award).

Researcher and assistant producer Gabrielle Raw-Rees comes to fforest after working on two docu-series for the National Gerographic Channel (Shark Beach). Raised in Ceredigion Gabrielle has a 1st Class Hons in English Literature from Durham and brings valuable experience in, marketing, production management and conference producing.
